ProffieOS7 requires SD card preformance to be 1200kbps read speed with 12 simulatenous audio streams.
Subpar or poor performing SD cards will cause the saber to lag or freeze.
If you experience lag or slow response you need to run 'sdtest' in Serial Monitor. Even if SD is labeled as high performance you should run sdtest to be sure.
- First, remove DISABLE_DIAGNOSTIC_COMMANDS define from your config.
- Upload new config (you may temporatily need to remove some presets if exceeding FLASH memory)
- With saber connected go to Arduino > Tools > Serial Monitor
- Type 'sdtest'
- If you do not have 1200kbps read speed and 12 simulatenous audio streams you will want to replace your SD with a better performing card.
You can also improve SD performance via formatting and file structure, also be sure to ALWAYS 'Eject' the SD card anytime it's mounted to your computer to prevent file corruption.
Style recipes will pre-build specific style combinations for you allowing for easy selection. You can still customize the colors, options, effects and enhancements to your liking. Select the recipe and the blade type you wish to generate and click "Go".
Build a Style
Multi Phase / Dual Phase / Interactive / Color Shift / Split Blade Builder
This tool will allow you to build Multi Phase, Dual Phase, Interactive, Color Shift or Split Blade Base styles with a wide range of effects and colors.
Multi Phase blade styles allow you build up to 10 "Phases" and toggle through via multiple control options.
Dual Phase blade styles have two separate blade effect / colors that are toggled through multiple control options. These will allow you to build a custom "Dual Phase" preset or create a "Bleeding", "Corruption" or "Pull to the Darkness" style.
Interactive blade styles allow you to implement a wide range of "story telling" or "mini video game" styles that react to how you're using you saber to create a much more immersive and video game-like experience. There is an ever-growing list of Interactive options in development, each with unique abilities.
Color Shift blade styles blend two separate blade effect / colors into an ever changing blade style with multiple control options. You can create truly unique blends and mixes for the most unique responsive and interactive styles possible.
Color Blend styles allow you to blend two separate blade effects/colors as a fixed or rotating effect.
Split Blade styles join two separate blade effects/colors onto a single blade creating a half-and-half blade effect.
Mirror Blades allow you to join two separate blade effects/colors into a reflected blade style based on your choice of center point and control
Vortex Blades allow you to join and blend two separate blade effects/colors into a unique blade style based on your choice of center point. and control.
Event Horizon Blades allow you to join and blend two separate blade effects/colors into a a unique blade style with a "Black Hole" at the center with your choice of center point and control.
I've based these styles on the "Rotoscoped" lightsaber effects used in the Star Wars films. There are multiple variations: Rotoscope (uses RandomFlicker), Audio Rotoscope (uses AudioFlicker)., Subtle has a very subtle amount of movement, Light is a less dramatic effect, Subdued is a slower rolling variation and Erratic randomly jumps in and out of motion.
While breaking down the films to create the Rotoscope effect I noticed, particularly in the original films, that while the blades are being swung and moved the blade animation would be replaced with a stable color (most likely due to fewer frames to be able to add animation). I've applied this concept to the new Hyper Responsive Rotoscope styles, as you swing the animation will slow or stop depending on the speed and acceleration of the blade movement. In addition, the amount of time the blade animation takes to return is based on the inertia generated by the swing. The faster and larger the swing the longer the blade will take to normalize.
Each of the Trilogies had slightly different effects so there are 3 versions: Original Trilogy version has an undulating flicker effect that varies randomly or based on audio, Prequels version had a slower undulation and Sequels version has a faster, more pronounced movement than Original Trilogy.
If you wish to further adjust flickering, select "Two Color" option and adjust Alt Color using Edit Mode or ProffieOS Workbench (the greater the difference between Base and Alt Color the more noticeable the flicker becomes).

NOTES:
These styles are also available in Blade Builder to build a Multi-Phase Style and enable Alt Font and Party Mode capabilities as seen in the game.
Based on the Jedi Fallen Order video game blade effects.
Cal Kestis - due to having to repair and update his saber, Cal's lightsaber effect has a slightly uneven pulse as the energy moves up the blade.
Second Sister - the Second Sister has an agressive rolling pulse from the dark side flowing through her saber
Ninth Sister - the Ninth Sister has a slightly unstable pulse running through the blade

"The Twins: Karre" style automatically comes in HotPink and DeepSkyBlue split but can be edited with Base and Alt Color
These are new Interactive Styles from Star Wars Visions - The Ninth Jedi. In this episode the sabersmith has created sabers with crystals that get their color and strength from the connection to the Force of whomever wields it.
Margrave - This style is based on the scene where the Margrave uses the Force to take a saber form one of the Sith, once he grabs the saber it instantly changes from Sith Red to Jedi Green in his hands and the intensity and power of the saber increases based on his connection to the Force.
Kara -This style is based on Kara's journey, her experiences lead her to unlock the full connection to the force. When first ignited the saber will be dull and have a slower pulse. As she battles and blocks and deflects the Sith attacks her connection to the Force is unlocked. Based on the episode after 10 clashes the potential of the crystal is unlocked and her next lockup will be the tipping point and her saber will unleash it's full power. (Do 10 clashes to unlock the crystal's full potential, then lockup to release the power).
This new interactive style takes you into a "Choose your Kyber Crystal" mode, like in Fallen Order, Jedi Academy or the Galaxy's Edge saber building experience, that lets you select from a different Kyber option before igniting. Then once you've selected your Crystal color your saber will reamin that color until you reboot or change presets. This allows you to pick your saber color before use without needing to edit ro change color.
Emitter Flare Selection - creates a temporary colored flare at your emitter before igniting to allow you to select the color, once you select and ignite your blade the color is locked in and the Emitter Flare is removed.
Hidden Selection - no visible selection but uses rotation to go through colors prior to ignition if you want to make it seem like the crystal is choosing based on your connection to the Force or it can be paired with a "Kyber Select" Off Effect for a Crystal Chamber or Accent LED.
AudioFlicker will vary the flicker speed based on audio levels, this allows the flcker to vary by font hum / swing sounds.
RandomFlicker creates a random flicker.
HumpFlicker creates a simple undulating flicker, small or large "hump" options available.
"Single Color" options have 3 intensity levels, 50% Base Color for Flicker (Normal), 75% Base Color for Flicker (Subtle) and 25% Base Color for Flicker (Intense)
To create more variation in the flicker select the "Two Color" option and edit your Alt Color to a larger difference/brightness from your Base Color.

Film-Based - This is my original "Film-Based" Kylo Ren unstable blade style. This is the version I've based on the Force Awakens in terms of timings and power bursts and creates a constantly changing unstable effect.
Supreme Leader - Taking the mantle of "Supreme Leader" has enhanced Kyo Ren's power while making him even less predictable as his crystal is becomes even more corrupted. This new unstable blade style features random boosts of power and intensity over the unstable blade of his kyber crystal.

Unstable Pulse - This blade combines an unstable blade with random surges of power creating an unstable pulse up the blade.
Rage - "Rage" is a new variation on my original Kylo Ren Unstable blade effects. This version is a sped up and more intense version with a lot of activity and power run ups.
Anger - "Anger" is a new variation on my Kylo Ren Unstable Effects, this version is a slightly slower animation but with a lot of intensity changes to still give a nice unstable look to the blade.
Unleashed - UNLEASH YOUR ANGER! with this Unstable blade variation. This style is an overpowered unstable effect with high speed pulses and power bursts as the full power of your saber is "Unleashed".
Erratic - Become truly "Unstable" with this new unstable blade variation. This is a version of "Unleashed" with a random increase in speed, intensity and brightness that will go from standard power to overpowered without notice.
Random Pulse - This is a randomized pulse effect, the speed and intensity of the energy pulse up the blade is randomized for an almost unstable effect.

This is a new updated version of the "Responsive Flame" which reacts in real time to the orientation of your blade. When the blade is pointing straight up the flame effect will be at it's fastest and most intense, then as you lower the blade to horizontal it will slow. If you tip the blade below horizontal the flame will begin to shrink and slow as if turning back towards the hilt as a real flame would. When pointing down the flame will be at its slowest and smallest.
This version also adjusts all effects while the blade is horizontal so effects will also shrink and remain within the flame effect itself, note Drag or Melt will now occur at the tip of the fire, not the physical tip of the blade if below horizontal.

This is a brand new update to the Ice Blade effect using the new Interactive capabilities. Using the Force Effect you can freeze the blade in a layer of ice, but Clashes or Stabs will slowly chip away at the ice and allow the Fire to melt it away.
New INTERACTIVE blade effect designed to mimic flowing water. While the saber is parallel to the ground the blade will remain tranquil, as you point up the water effect will flow from the tip to the hilt with increasing speed and as you turn the blade towards the ground the water will change direction and flow from the hilt to the tip with increasing speed. In addition, the blade responds to inertia so large upward swings can temporarily reverse the flow of water up but gravity will take back over after time. The more inertia you apply the longer the effect can fight gravity.

NOTES:
This style is best paired with the Gravity Ignition and Gravity Retraction effects to add even more realism.
Summon the power of a Tornado! This is a new Interactive Blade Style, each swing will build up speed and create a vortex on your blade building up power until the blade is clashed.
Based on the Crucible Sword in DOOM Eternal, this interactive blade style lets you ignite/recharge the blade by pointing down, after 3 clashes or stabs you will need to recharge the power of the blade.
This blade style is "inspired" by a laser shining through smoke/vapor creating a unique effect with a layered movement of rolling upwards and downward smoke flow. This style has a base layer with downward movement that will react to swing movements and a "smoke" layer with upward movement, the two combined produce a tumble effect on the blade.

Rolling Pulse - This style features a medium paced rolling pulse of energy from the hilt up the blade.
Rotating Pulse - A rolling pulse of energy that rotates poles up and down the blade.
Kinetic Pulse - Every swing will build up the speed of the pulse in your blade, it will reset on each ignition.
Death Star Blast - This style features a continuous high powered pulsing blast of kyber energy up the blade similar to the Death Start blast.
Energy Saw - This style features a back-and-forth Energy Saw effect that will roll up and down the blade.
Random Pulse - This is a randomized pulse effect, the speed and intensity of the energy pulse up the blade is randomized for an almost unstable effect.

"Blues" and "Purples" produce the most accurate effects.
Based on the "lightsaber" weapon that appears in the film "The Adam Project" this is a segmented blade with a pulsing electromagentic energy, best used with Stack Ignition, Unstack Retraction and Full Blade Flash on Clash.
Ghostbusters "Dont' Cross the Streams" Particle Beam
Particle Beam
This is my Ghostbusters themed Particle Beam Style, this style allows you to control the intensity of the beam by turning your hilt so you can avoid "burning Egon's face off" while trapping Ghosts. Very Important, "Don't Cross the Streams"!
Select Style Options
NOTES:
This style uses a "OrangeRed" Base color combined with Blue and White highlights, editing the Base Color will change the primary color of the effect.
Based on the personal shields in the new DUNE film I've built a new "hyper responsive" blade style. The base effect is my new "Shimmer" style that utilizes the movement and angle of the blade to apply a shimmering effect. If your blade is perfectly still it will settle into a static color, but any movement will creating a rippled shimmer effect along the blade and the more you move it and the faster you move it the more intense and longer the shimmer runs.
This interactive blade style creates a Prism effect that multiplies with each clash. When this blade is clashed it will create a prism / mirrored effect. Only retraction or using the Force can repair the blade.
Running Rainbow creates a 6 color rainbow that runs up the blade (Slow or Fast variations available)
Static Rainbow creates a static 6 color rainbow gradient
Running Rainbow Fire creates a 6 color rainbow fire effect that runs up the blade (Slow or Fast variations available)
Static Rainbow Fire creates a static 6 color rainbow gradient fire (Slow or Fast variations available)
OmniColor continuously changes your blade color, original OmniColor will rotate through ALL possible colors at a continuous rate
OmniColor Swing will change the color of your blade everytime you swing, with the change in color based on the speed and acceleration of the swing allowing ALL possible colors. The color will remain while blade is held steady or only moved slowly but any swings will change the blade's color.

The colors in the Rainbow and OmniColor are based on the Base Color. For the default coloring Base Color is Red, if you edit the Base Color all colors will shift to match allowing for pastels, whites or darks to be created.
For all of the Lord of the Rings fans out there. I have new take on the "Eye of Sauron" featuring an ever-present "Eye" in the middle of your blade (for Main blade).
The style for Secondary, Crystal or Accent is a matching fire going up the blades.
There are several versions available for controls and movement, you will want to match the position for Center In or Center Out Ignition and Retraction as well as Preon or PostOff if you choose so the effects all stay in synch.
Center - the Eye will remain in the center of the blade
Twist Position - the Eye will move up and down the blade based on turning your hilt
Blade Angle Position - the Eye will move up and down the blade based on Blade Angle, moving up when blade it pointing up and down when pointing down

NOTES:
This style uses a "Red" Base Color, if you edit the color all colors will adjust automatically.
This style is designed to mimic the look of hyperspace from the viewport of the Millenium Falcon, with a mix of Blues, White and Silvers streaking from the center of the blade towards to the ends. This pairs perfectly with the "Jump to Hyperspace" Preon Effect and "Exit Hyperspace" Postoff Effects in the Enhancement screen.
Select Style Options
NOTES:
This style has built-in White and Silver effects. The best Base color to match is "Blue" which comes by default. You can edit colors to change if you wish to modify highlights.
This is a new blade style based on AOTC and The Mandalorian scenes with the Slave I seismic charge weapons. There is a "Seismic Charge" preon effect that will drop the seismic charge to the center of the blade and then I am using a Center Out ignition and Split retraction to complete the effect (these will be chosen in the Enhancements screen). Depending on the font you use you may need to adjust the timings on the preon to allow for the animation to complete, there is meant to be a very quick disappearance and silence just before the blade ignites to finish the effect. The base effect includes a White Flash on ignition to simulate the initial explosion, if you add Power Up effects this will be obscured.

NOTES:
The best Base color to match is "DodgerBlue" which comes by default. You can edit colors to change if you wish to modify highlights.
Based on the 80s Cartoon the "Sword of Omens" blade style features a unique "shimmer" effect when moving around and a brand new "Interactive" ignitiion effect to recreate the iconic sword extension in the original series.
"Interactive" Effects wait for you to interact with them and do specific actions when you do. The "Interactive" ignition will extend the blade 1/3 of its full length with each swing during the interactive period (set below). So this blade will require 3 swings to full extend the blade. After the interative period the blade will extend itself if it has not been extended. For best results you'll want to set the Interactive Time tobe long enough to give yourself time to complete the 3 swings or set to 0 and use with n out.wav sound file that is at least 20000 ms (20 seconds). The original intro cartoon scene was approximately 22 seconds so the library recommends 22000 ms.
NOTE: You will need to allow the Interactive timer to complete.before retracting the saber, retracitng the saber before the ignition sequence is complete can cause the hum to remain on due to the ignition process completing after retraction.
Select Style Options
NOTES:
The Interactive Timer sets the duration of the "interactive" period for the style, once this period ends the blade will finish it's ignition effect automatically.
This style incorporates a new Interactive Ignition Effect, for best results use "Instant" as the Ignition option to allow the interactive layers to show properly.
This style looks best in Silver, the Eye of Thundera will default to Red but uses Alt Color for editing.

Best paired with "Infinity Stone Collection" preon
Based on the MCU's Black Panther, this blade builds up Purple kinetic energy with each clash or lockup on defense, you can then release the energy with an offensive swing.
Select Style Options
NOTES:
Kinetic Energy Build Up is Purple by default, editable as Alt Color
Christmas Tree - creates a Christmas tree look with a solid body, pulsing star on top and blinking lights throughout. BASE_COLOR allows editing of main body and ALT_COLOR allows editing of pulsing Star.
"Star" section uses MELT SIZE if editing is needed.
For best effect lean your saber against a light colored wall at a slight angle to create a tree shaped reflection
"Light the Menorah" (Interactive) - creates an Interactive Hanukkah Menorah on your saber, each Interactive step will light a "candle" on the Menorah. Resets on Preset Change. BASE_COLOR allows editing of main body and ALT_COLOR allows editing of "lit candle".
Right-Handed (lights from hilt to tip in order)
Left-Handed (lights from tip to hilt in order)
Candy Cane - creates a candy cane blade with static or moving options
String Lights - creates a Christmas String Light effect over a black blade.

ProffieOS7 introduces many new features and capabilities, be sure you've read through the documentation for set up and usage.
This library is completely new and designed to unlock all of the new potential in OS7. Please watch the video to learn about how to use and all of the new features.
The "Control Layer" in OS7 enables many new features and allows unique controls to be applied to each individual preset via the style code. To prevent conflicts or issues you should only include on style with a Control Layer enabled per each preset. This would typically be the style running your main or primary blade. If you intend to use a Main blade style on a second blade in the preset, remove the Control Layer before adding - or - if you want to use a Secondary / Crystal / Accent or Sequence style to run the Control Layer then be sure it is the only style in the preset that enables.
IMPORTANT - If you have two or more styles in a single preset with a "Control Layer" you will have problems with controls and/or your saber may freeze up when control is used.
Dual Phase (Original - Color Change) - Allows you to change the blade color/style using Color Change. Be sure to add COLOR_CHANGE_DIRECT define to config to enable click-to-change functionality.

Interactive Control Styles are new features added to ProffieOS7 that change the normal control behavior via my prop. They require my prop, style code and specific sounds within the font to work properly. The comment section of the style code will specify the sounds being used based on the options you've selected.
Interactive Blast - when Blast is triggered the sound of a blaster firing (blast.wav) will play, the "deflection" of the bolt (blst.wav & visual effect) will only trigger if you swing to deflect the incoming bolt within the "Reaction Time", otherwise the blast is not deflected by the blade.
Single Blast - a single blaster sound is triggered for each Blast effect to be deflected.
Continuing Blasts - a single blaster sound is triggered, but each deflection will trigger a new blaster sound (up to 3). If not deflected, the blaster sounds will end.
Reaction Time:
Civilian - after blaster sound completes swing within 2000 ms to deflect
Padawan - after blaster sound completes swing within 1500 ms to deflect
Knight - after blaster sound completes swing within 1000 ms to deflect
Master - after blaster sound completes swing within 500 ms to deflect
All Preon Effects in OS7 using my prop will only display if preon.wav exists in the font and automatically time themselves to the preon.wav length. Note that many of the effects are designed for 4000ms ~ 12000ms so really short or long preon.wav files may affect how the animations appear.
Where noted you can select PreOn Color or Base Color; PreOn Color lets you edit the preon effect separately from other effects, Base Color will always use the style's Base Color.
Faulty Ignition - inspired by Brian Conner's Ignition Redux, this Preon will have multiple "false" ignitions prior to your real ignition with an unstable appearance.
Overload - the power in your kyber crystal will build up and unleash your blade ignition in a blast - this effect works best with SparkTip Ignition and/or Power Up Effect (select below)
Erratic - meant to mimic a faulty trigger, the kyber crystal will give several "false" sparks until if finally catches and ignites
Pulsing - your kyber crystal will pulse during your preon and then unleash your blade ignition timed by your preon.wav
Pilot Light Spark - creates a spark at the emitter timed by your preon.wav
Rey TROS Spark - based on the emitter spark seen in Rey's new saber at the end of TROS, it will quickly spark Green to Blue and then ignite, this effect is meant for very short preon.wav files
Emitter Heat Up - the energy will build up and heat the emitter from Red to Orange to Yellow to White and then release the blade energy - this effect works best with SparkTip Ignition and/or Power Up Effect (select below)
Power Absorb - this effect pulls power into the hilt until it reaches critical and then releases the blade, 8000 ms (full animation default) - this effect works best with SparkTip Ignition and/or Power Up Effect (select below)
Sparking - a continous random sparking effect for the duration of your preon.wav
Spectrum Absorb - the crystal builds up by absorbing the ROYGBIV spectrum and rotating through colors until igntion, best used with a Rainbow or Color Run blade style
Seismic Charge - this preon will release a blue seismic charge from your hilt to the center of your blade to mimicFett's Slave I seismic charges. After getting to center it will hold and disappear for a second (if timed to your preon sound). This works best with a Center Out ignition. (default 2400 ms)
Polar Spark - this preon is designed for use with Shock Baton style and Center In Ignition, it creates sparks at the hilt and tip that then ignite the blade
Jump to Hyperspace - this Preon is designed to work with the "Hyperspace" blade style and mimics going from a star field to Hyperspace as seen through the viewport of the Millenium Falcon
Sauron Awakens - This Preon is designed to work withth Eye of Sauron blade style, three versions are available; Center, Twist Position and Blade Angle Position, select based on base effect to keep in synch. Works best with matching Center Out ignition.
Infinity Stone Collection - collect the 6 Infinity Stones; Power, Space, Reality, Soul, Time and Mind to become the most powerful being in the universe - this effect works best in combination with a Silver blade variation and "Infinity Gauntlet Interactive Blast" style or the "Infinity Stone Interactive Emitter and Blast" emitter effect.
Note: Preon Effects will only show for the duration of the preon.wav, if your font does not contain a preon.wav these effects will not display.

Intensity and Responsive Lockup Effects share the Clash/Lockup position with localized Clash effects to keep clashes and lockups in synch.
Intensity Lockup V1 - "Intensity" lockup increases in intensity the longer the lockup is held, V1 also uses the actual clash strength that triggers the lockup for begin and end effects. Lockup location moves based on blade angle in real-time.
Responsive Lockup (Absorb) - Localized lockup that responds to blade angle in real-time, lockup is absorbed into the blade when it ends
Responsive Lockup (Dissipate) - Localized lockup that responds to blade angle in real-time, lockup will dissipate across the blade when it ends
Responsive Lockup (Ripple) - Localized lockup that responds to blade angle in real-time, lockup will create ripple across the blade when it ends
DUNE Intensity Lockup - Inspired by the DUNE shield generator in the latest film, the lockup responds to actual clash strength and duration of the lockup. While the shield is active the effect is Blue, as the shield fails it becomes Red. The longer you hold lockup or the harder the clash to create it the faster the shield fails.
Original Localized Lockup - The original localized lockup effect has an animated lockup section that moves slowly up and down the blade
Full Blade Lockup (Absorb) - Creates a lockup effect across the entire blade, lockup is absorbed into the blade when it ends
Full Blade Lockup (Dissipate) - Creates a lockup effect across the entire blade, lockup will dissipate across the blade when it ends
Full Blade Lockup (Ripple) - Creates a lockup effect across the entire blade, lockup will create ripple on the blade when it ends
Lightning Block
Responsive Lightning Block - - this hybrid effect features a Force Lightning effect that dances along the blade, you can control the intensity of the attack by turning your hilt to have it be more intense of less intense. In addition, it uses Responsive control to "focus" the attack as you move your blade to the straight up position to give you a real immersion into the effect. It features a large initial blast transition in and a power absorption transition out to add to the realism.
Original Lightning Block - - this version uses a randomized animation to represent blocking a Force Lightning attack, this version does not use Responsive Controls.
Force Lightning - - channel your inner Sith Lord and throw Force Lightning through your blade, just be sure to stop if some Jedi using Lightning Block or you may risk permanent disfigurement.
Drag effects are meant to mimic dragging your blade along the floor. They are only used on Main Blade styles.
Intensity Sparking Drag - "Intensity" effects increase in intensity the longer they are held. Creates a sparking section at the blade tip for Drag
Sparking Drag - Creates a sparking section at the blade tip for Drag
Intensity Fire Drag - "Intensity" effects increase in intensity the longer they are held. Creates a flame-like effect at the blade tip for Drag
Fire Drag - Creates a flame-like effect at the blade tip for Drag
Melt effects react to twisting of your hilt to change the color/temperature of the effect from Red to Orange/Yellow as seen in EP I. They are only used on Main Blade styles.
Note: Melt uses "Stab Color" for editing.
Intensity Melt - "Intensity" Melt will go from a heating/melting effect to a fire effect the longer it is held. Turning your hilt will change the effect from Red to Orange as seen in the films.
Responsive Melt - Turning your hilt will change the effect from Red to Orange as seen in the films.
Stab effects are generated when the tip of the blade clashes against an object after a linear movement. They are separate from Melt and Drag effect but use Melt Size for editing.
Normal Stab - creates a simple tip effect that wipes in and out based on stab.wav
AudioFlicker Stab - creates a flickering tip effect that wipes in and out based on stab.wav
Sparking Stab - creates a flicerking tip effect that wipes in and out based on stab.wav
To create more realism you can combine multiple blast effects into your style and choose to have them Randomly selected or selected in Sequence.
The size and speed of the effects can be Random, Sound Based or have fixed sizes (Medium/Large) for even more diversity in the effects.
Blast Wave - Creates a wave up and down the blade from a random location
Blast Ripple - Creates a ripple effect up and down the blade from a random location

Responsive Blast Fade - Creates an impact point the fades, the location is based on BladeAngle
Real Clash and Responsive Clash & Lockup Effects share the Clash/Lockup Position to ensure that clash effects and lockup effects are in synch with each other.
Real Clash V1 - Real Clash uses the actual strength of the clash impact to generate the effect, the size, speed and duration of the effect is based on how hard the clash is. V1 will have a small impact that fades for very light clashes, a larger wave effect for medium clashes and a nearly full blade effect for the hardest hits. The location of the clash is based on Blade Angle.

Note: Preon Effects will only show for the duration of the preon.wav, if your font does not contain a preon.wav these effects will not display.
Ignition Effects can have a set time or if Ignition Time is set to 0 they will use length of out.wav sound
Instant - Blade just turns On with ignition (best for use in Crystal or Accents)
Standard Ignition - Standard lightsaber ignition blade extends from hilt to tip
Wipe In - Blade extends down from tip to hilt
SparkTip Ignition - Blade extends from hlt to tip with a "Spark" at the tip (uses Ignition "Power Up" Color for Spark editing)
Gravity Ignition - For use with Water Blade. The direction and speed of the ignition effect is based on blade angle (gravity), when blade is straight up the effect will "ignite" from the tip down very fast, as it's lowered to parallel it will slow. If the blade is straight down the effect will "ignite" from the hilt down very fast.
Center Out - Blade expands from center of the blade in both directions
Center In - Blade extends from both ends towards center
Glitch On - "Glitchy" standard ignition with blade taking time to stabilize
Dual Mode Wipe (Up = Fast) - Standard ignition with "dual" speeds, while saber is pointing up ignition will be faster (for use with FETT263_DUAL_MODE_SOUND in my prop)
Dual Mode Wipe (Down = Fast) - Standard ignition with "dual" speeds, while saber is pointing down ignition will be faster (for use with FETT263_DUAL_MODE_SOUND in my prop)

Lightning Strike - A bolt of lightning will run down your blade to your hilt creating a momentary spark at the emitter which ignites your blade
Fade Up - Blade will fade from black to base color (best for use in Crystal or Accents)
Assemble - Pieces of the Blade will fly in from the tip to assemble the blade.
Stack - Pieces of the Blade will stack from the hilt to assemble the blade.
Power Up Effects add a temporary effect to your blade during ignition, meant to mimic an overload of power being released from the saber that then settles into your base effect. The effects will automatically time themselves to your Ignition Time and fade after the blade is fully ignited.
Power Flash - a solid flash of energy on ignition
Unstable Power Up Forward - an unstable burst of energy moving up the blade from the hilt
Unstable Power Up Reverse - an unstable burst of energy moving down from the tip to the hilt

The direction and speed of the ignition effect is based on blade angle (gravity), when blade is straight up the effect will "retract" from the tip down very fast, as it's lowered to parallel it will slow. If the blade is straight down the effect will "retract" from the hilt down very fast.
Split Retraction - Blade splits at the center and retracts up and down
Center In - Blade retracts from both ends into the center

Metal Forge (Heat Up) - Blade slowly heats up like a piece of metal, starting Red to Orange to Yellow to White Hot during ignition time
Lightning Strike - A bolt of lightning will run down your blade to your hilt creating a momentary spark at the emitter which ignites your blade
Unstable Power Up Center Out - an unstable burst of energy moving from middle of the blade in both directions
Unstable Power Up Center In - an unstable burst of energy moving from both ends to the center of the blade
Power Burst Forward - a large burst of energy moving up the blade from the hilt
Power Burst Reverse - a large burst of energy moving down from the tip to the hilt
Power Burst Center Out - a large burst of energy moving from middle of the blade in both directions
Power Burst Center In - a large burst of energy moving from both ends to the center of the blade
Power Burst Emitter- creates a large burst of energy at the emitter during ignition (uses Emitter Size for editing)
Rey TROS Spark - creates a quick Green to Blue Spark at the emitter (uses Emitter Size for editing) to mimic the effect from the end of TROS
Disable - for use with Options list allows you to disable Power Up effects within a preset via Edit Mode or ProffieOS Workbench
Retraction Effects can have a set time or if Retraction Time is set to 0 they will use length of in.wav sound
Standard Retraction - Standard lightsaber retraction with blade retracting from tip to hilt
Run Up - Blade will retract from hilt to tip
Cycle Down - Blade cycles off (Tron-style effect)
SparkTip Retraction - Blade retracts from tip top hilt with a "Spark" at the tip (uses Retraction "Cool Down" Color for Spark editing)
Gravity Retraction - For use with Water Blade.
Blink Off - Blade blinks off (5x)
Glitch Off - "Glitchy" standard retraction
Metal Forge (Cool Down) - Blade will slowly cool like a piece of metal from White to Yellow to Orange to Red to Black
Fade Out - Blade will fade to black (best for use in Crystal or Accents)
Disassemble - Pieces of the Blade will fly out to the tip to disassemble the blade.
Unstack - Pieces of the Blade will unstack toward the hilt to disassemble the blade.
Instant - Blade just turns OFF with retraction (best for use in Crystal or Accents)
Cool Down Effects add a temporary effect to your blade during retraction to "undo" the Power Up Ignition Effect. The effects will automatically time themselves to your Retraction effect.

After getting to center it will hold and disappear for a second (if timed to your preon sound). This works best with a Center Out ignition. (default 2400 ms)
Power Flash - a solid flash of energy on ignition
Unstable Cool Down Reverse - an unstable burst of energy moving down from the tip to the hilt
Unstable Cool Down Forward - an unstable burst of energy moving up the blade from the hilt
Unstable Cool Down Center In - an unstable burst of energy moving from both ends to the center of the blade
Unstable Cool Down Center Out - an unstable burst of energy moving from middle of the blade in both directions
Power Burst Reverse - a large burst of energy moving down from the tip to the hilt
Power Burst Forward - a large burst of energy moving up the blade from the hilt
Power Burst Center In - a large burst of energy moving from both ends to the center of the blade
Power Burst Center Out - a large burst of energy moving from middle of the blade in both directions
Disable - for use with Options list allows you to disable Cool Down effects within a preset via Edit Mode or ProffieOS Workbench
sequencer PstOff description.
Typically Lockup effects appear on the main blade, you can add below effects to crystal.
Intensity Lockup Up V1 - Creates a flash at the beginning and end lockup effect that runs up the blade based on how hard the clash is to trigger lockup, light clashes will have no effect on blade
Intensity Lockup Down V1 - Creates a flash at the beginning and end lockup effect that runs down the blade based on how hard the clash is to trigger lockup, light clashes will have no effect on blade
Lockup Flash - Creates a quick flash at the beginning and end of lockup
Lockup Dissipate Up - Creates a flash at the beginning of lockup and then dissipates the effect up the blade when lockup ends
Lockup Dissipate Down - Creates a flash at the beginning of lockup and then dissipates the effect down the blade when lockup ends
Lockup Ripple Up - Creates a flash at the beginning of lockup and ripple effect up the blade when lockup ends
Lockup Ripple Down - Creates a flash at the beginning of lockup and ripple effect down the blade when lockup ends
Full Blade Lightning - Creates a lightning effect across sequencers while Lightning Block is active
Lightning After Effect - Creates an "after effect" of lightning across the blade when Lightning Block ends as if the attack was absorbed by saber

To create more realism you can combine multiple blast effects into your style and choose to have them Randomly selected or selected in Sequence. Blast effects for sequencers are not localized but can be added to represent energy travelling from main blade through the hilt.
The size and speed of the effects can be Random, Sound Based or have fixed sizes (Medium/Large) for even more diversity in the effects.
Blast Wave Up - Creates a wave from the bottom up the blade to the tip
Blast Wave Down - Creates a wave from the tip the travels down the blade
Blast Ripple Up - Creates a ripple from the bottom up the blade to the tip
Blast Ripple Down - Creates a ripple from the tip that travels down the blade
Blast Ripple Fade Up - Creates a short ripple from the bottom up the blade to the tip
Blast Ripple Fade Down - Creates a short ripple from the tip the travels down the blade
Full Blade Blast Fade - Creates a flash on the entire blade that fades
Typically clash effects are used on your main blade. If you want clashes to show up on your sequencers these are recommended options
Flash on Clash (Full Blade) - Full blade FOC, best for in-hilt, sequencers or crystals
Real Clash V1 Up - Only medium or hard hits will create effect (based on how hard the clash is), meant for use on side blades or crystals to repesent larger power spikes affecting the entire saber, while lighter hits have no effect, wave effect travels up the blade
Real Clash V1 Down - Only medium or hard hits will create effect (based on how hard the clash is), meant for use on side blades or crystals to repesent larger power spikes affecting the entire saber, while lighter hits have no effect, wave effect travels down the blade
Clash Wave Up - Creates a wave up the blade, best for side blades or crystals
Clash Wave Down - Creates a wave down the blade, best for side blades or crystals
Clash Ripple Up - Creates a ripple up the blade, best for side blades or crystals
Clash Ripple Down - Creates a ripple down the blade, best for side blades or crystals
